High School Prophecy Essay Example for Free
High School Prophecy Essay Life is an exciting, mystical, powerful and romantic adventure in the modern WORD. As we face life, how would we imagine the success of ourselves? We should prepare to face another chapter of our life in the future. Ten years from now I can imagine myself being an administrator of a famous school waiting for my promotion as a division superintendent staying in my own beautiful mansion living in a comfortable life. As I traveled along the shores of the Philippines I couldnââ¬â¢t shut my ears off listening to a beautiful voice inside araneta coliseum oh! It is the nightingale of our school way back when I was in high school, Beverly Rose Mangubat. I couldnââ¬â¢t believe she is now one the most popular singers in the Philippines. Then when I went back to the cruise ship where I am riding I saw a beautiful woman, my eyes sparkled as I saw Ann Maurice Branzuela now a very successful maritime officer. Then I departed the ship and preparing myself to drive off the road with my beautiful BMW. I went on a conference with the different school administrators in the province; I couldnââ¬â¢t help but laugh watching the one and only guy during our high school days who is now an administrator of the newest university in the province Jhon Oneal Collamat, so called to be one the most eligible bachelor in the Country. As I traveled the road way back home, I suddenly stopped and glanced at a huge skyscraper; which is also a bank, and my heart was jumping when I found out that it was Carlyn Mae Tamayo who owns it the math wizard during our time. As I opened my computer at home a new webpage was found, I couldnââ¬â¢t get my eyes staring on the screen as I read the name Jesha Mae Rofloââ¬â she was the founder. Donââ¬â¢t even think about it when she even made a virus to hack computers herself. Wow! Life is really amazing. We need to imagine our success to have an excellent future!

College Admissions Essay: A Pivotal Time in My Life :: College Admissions Essay
Aà Pivotal Time in My Life à My mother read The Yearling aloud to me when I was eight. I have always thought of that time - those nights when she read, seated in the hall outside the bedrooms, my sister listening from her room and me from mine - our rooms were dark, and the light was on Mother, and her voice was clear and expressive; she was a good reader - I have thought of that as a pivotal time in my literature life. Reading for me, until then, had been The Bobbsey Twins, Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, Winnie the Pooh, and Nancy Drew: a combination of classics and schlock, and I loved it all. But it was separate from me. It was not real. They were stories, and they held my interest and made me laugh now and then - but they were never real. But now, with my own father far away on business, my mother sat quietly in that hallway and read of the boy named Jody whose father, bitten by a rattlesnake, is struggling to live. "He pressed his face into hanging covers and cried bitterly," my mother read of Jody (and I, listening, pressed my own face into my pillow in anguish for Jody). "He was torn with hate for all death and pity for all aloneness," she read. It was the book, The Yearling, and its effect on me, that directed my reading from then on. After I had met Jody Baxter, I didn't want to hang out with Nan and Bert Bobbsey ever again.

Major Problem In American Society - Free Essay Example
Sample details Pages: 3 Words: 948 Downloads: 9 Date added: 2019/05/07 Category Literature Essay Level High school Topics: Modest Proposal Essay Did you like this example? à The one major problem in American society besides of course, the surprising amounts of murder and rape, domestic abuse, an influx of both legal and illegal immigrants, rising poverty levels, and the lack of quality health care is homosexuality. Homosexual marriages is an unprecedented offense because it interferes with the natural idea of heterosexual relationships and marriages. Americas homosexual population is estimated to be about 15% with a maximum margin of sampling error at à ±5%. Homosexuals are taking work opportunities that other Americans desperately need. By ridding the country of this menace, there will be more employment available to the public and will strengthen the economy. I propose, as a solution to this rising problem, that we make homosexual marriage illegal once again. The remaining homosexuals will be deported to concentrated encampments. There, the homosexuals will be put to work to make up for the economic costs that will amount in building these sites. I think the advantages and importance of this proposal outweighs the burdens and are of the highest importance. Donââ¬â¢t waste time! Our writers will create an original "Major Problem In American Society" essay for you Create order First, homosexual relationship are not complementary by nature because they cannot have children and are therefore undeserving of the word marriage. To get rid of the homoerotic public, America needs to show pride in its lasting natural marriages, like the 72-day marriage between Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries as well as Britney Spears 55-hour marriage to Jason Allen Alexander. Imagine how the institution of homosexual marriages is tainting this scared system. If homosexuals are given the freedom to marry, they will display their homosexuality more openly. Secondly, the institution of homosexual marriage would also permit homosexual couples to the adopt children. To develop best, children need two parents who could naturally produce children themselves; they need a fertile mother and a fertile father. Therefore, my definition of homosexual is inclusive of single prospective parents, infertile couples, and the elderly. Likewise, homosexual parents will develop homosexual children, just like all heterosexual parents develop heterosexual children. Thirdly, America is not known a country for change; women are still a mans rightful property, slavery is still tolerated, and divorce is still illegal. The institution of homosexual marriage would also require schools to promote an education about tolerance, which would require the firm establishment of morals. In America, we pride ourselves on arbitrary and unstable morals. The establishment of a solid, unquestioned set of morals due to the teaching of tolerance in school is far too stable. Fourthly, many religions claim that God loves everyone, such as in The Book of Mormon, prophet Nephi testified that I know that [God] loveth his children (1 Nephi 11:17). However, in all his children, homosexuals are not included. Recently, protesters have been saying that these gays will be burnt in hell for their sins because they are anathema of the human race. If these gays are to burn in hell, then why should we allow them to live out their lives? It seems unreasonable to support these people into making something out of their lives when they are a disgrace to God. I propose that we burn them alive in public places so they serve as an example to the American public. By doing so, the general American population will feel cleansed in regards to homosexuals and their gay-specific sexually transmitted diseases. In fact, this burning could be considered a new entertainment. Just like family movie night, feel free to bring your children and snacks along to watch conflagrations filled with screaming and dying sinners. This will teach your children that God really only loves those that have an attraction to the opposite sex. Fifthly, In psychology, there is a phenomenon that is known as the mere-exposure effect which states that people tend to develop a preference for things merely because they are familiar with them. Similarly, If homosexuals are allowed to marry, they will be able to show off their sexuality with ease and confidence and spawn more homosexuals. The repeated exposure to homosexual tendencies will make people more comfortable with those attributes and will begin to accept and copy them. Homosexuality is, thus, a trait that can rub off like every other trait of a person, such as height, skin tone, and eye color. Sixthly, with all the homosexuals gone, Americas economy will be booming. Better jobs that gays once held will be available to those who are straight and the resources that were used to feed and house them will be reinstated into the local financial institutes. However, if there was a nationwide acceptance of homosexuals and their rights, many people would go out of business. Lawyers are a strong example of this because they thrive on settling disputes over laws that are contradictory, and that differ state-to-state. If we promote the peculiarity of homosexuals, they are more likely to commit suicide, thus decreasing the surplus population and restrengthening our economy. I propose this solution for the public good of the American citizens, as well as for the motive that it will increase economic stability, end civil resistance and keep America associated with permanence and inequality. We could just ignore the fact that theyre homosexual because love is just love, no matter who its with, but no. We must protect marriage by preventing people who are genuinely in love from getting married. We will pry into their personal lives and announce them to be the sinners they really are. Ultimately, homosexuals have not done much for humanity, but neither have heterosexuals. However, homosexuals are captivated by their own gender, and that cannot go unpunished. I truly believe that this proposal will result in success, for as a homosexual myself, I can give an unbiased opinion, and have nothing to gain from it.

Harsher Punishment For Child Abusers Essay - 1442 Words
Harsher Punishment for Child Abusers There are many children with loving parents and amazing homes, but not all children are that lucky. Some children live in a home where physical, sexual, or emotional abuse is suffered at the hands of their parents, a caregiver, or a trusted adult. Child abuse has been a major problem for decades and is a global problem. Because child abuse is such a global problem, one would think the punishment would be a simple solution ââ¬â a child abuser should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. According to research, however, ââ¬Å"only 15% of convicted family members received a term of imprisonment, compared to 28% of friends or acquaintances and 23% of strangers. These results support previous research that has indicated that offenders who are related to the victim often receive less harsh sentences than those who are non-family.â⬠(Gannon, p 15) Children of abuse live in their own prison created by the perpetrators and perpetrators sho uld be made to reside in an actual prison. According to Fred Clasen-Kelly of the Charlotte Observer, ââ¬Å"more than 1,000 reports of child abuse and neglect pour into Mecklenburg County DSS each month, often involving corporal punishment.â⬠(Clasen- Kelly, p 1) Of those reports, it is the countyââ¬â¢s responsibility to decide if charges are filed against the perpetrator, which is determined on a case-by-case basis. Obligation Under Aforesaid Sections Of Act ââ¬Myassignmenthelp.Com
Question: Discuss About The Obligation Under Aforesaid Sections Of Act? Answer: Introducation The Australian Corporation Act, 2001 states, under section 124 that a corporation is given the same legal capacity as that of an individual which is inclusive of the power to form a valid contract. Section 125 provides that such agreement which has been entered into by any suchoperations must perform the promised act even if it is beyond the companies constitution. Since both Michell and Tim are authorized authorities under the company they can form a valid contract which has to be performed on behalf of the company being an obligation under the aforesaid sections of the act. Section 126 of the act states, since a company cannot act on its own it has to take decision through an agent. The agent on its behalf is authorized to make, ratify or discharge a contract. Here, Michell and Tim are the authorized authorities who are supposed to act as agents on behalf of the company. Under the Corportation Act, 2001, section 126 states, that a company cannot take decisions on its own and thus should acts through agents or representatives. The agents/ representatives are empowered on behalf of the company to marketing, ratify or discharge the contract in which they have entered or about to enter. Here, George intends to sell out his cake shop to Gerard and Sylvia. Under the provisions of section 127, the management to sell the shop will satisfy only if one director and one secretary provides consent to such agreement. Though Gerard is the nominated director he can consent, Sylvia is just a shareholder of the company. She is not the secretary to provide consent which is necessary to satisfy the requirements under section 127. Again, section 126 tells us that if any authorized agent provides consent on behalf of the company to any such document to form an agreement, then such agreement shall be binding upon both the parties to a contract and should be treated the same way if one director and one secretary would have given consent. Though Sylvia is not the secretary, she is authorized under the company as an agent/ representative to undertake contracts. Thus her consent to such document will satisfy the requirement under section 127 and makes the contract binding References Business-law, L, (2016), Australian Corporations Legislation. Bevan, (2016).
